Prescription Drug Assistance
Cheyenne Regional Medical Center's Prescription Drug Assistance Program partners with national pharmaceutical companies to help low-income local area residents without prescription insurance get the medication they need for chronic health problems.
Eligibility is set by pharmaceutical company prescription assistance guidelines. To be considered for enrollment in this program, applicants must be a:
- Cheyenne Regional Medical Center patient
- Individual with a physician and a valid prescription
- Local area resident with a low-income and no prescription coverage
Referrals may be made by a physician's office, or those wishing to apply can call the Prescription Drug Assistance hotline (307) 633-7991. If you call the hotline to request an application, please leave your name, phone number and address. We will send an application to you. These forms must be completed by the patient, staff and physician.
The Prescription Drug Assistance Program works with the pharmaceutical companies to submit the forms for the application, however, Cheyenne Regional does not receive prescriptions or final decisions made regarding eligibility. Please note that it can take several weeks to receive medications after you apply.
